Keep Your Business Secure – the 10 Types of Commercial Fencing

One necessary task as a business owner or manager is to keep your business safe and secure. One of the best ways to do this is to install a fence around the property. What type of fence do you choose? What fence offers the best price, privacy, security, and aesthetics?

There are several types of commercial fencing from to select – each has their own advantages and costs. Here are the 10 types of commercial fencing to keep your business safe and secure.

Wood Fencing:  Wood fencing is extremely versatile and provides security and aesthetics. Various wood, such as pine and cedar, can be used. Wood does require regular maintenance, though various treatments can be sued to reduce the effects of age and weather.

Chain-Link Fencing: This is the most common choice for business fencing. Though it lacks plenty on aesthetics, it is easy to build and install, and provides a great deal of security.

Aluminum Fencing:  Aluminum fencing costs more than some other types, but it is durable and built to last. It is built to last, can be color treated to add beauty, and it costs less than other metal fences.

Wrought Iron Fencing: Wrought iron fences are expensive, but they can be extremely decorative and can add a certain artistic look to any business. With just a little maintenance, wrought iron fences will last for a very long time.

Vinyl Fencing:  This type of fencing is easy to clean and maintain, and a great choice for its durability.. It can be as decorative as any wood fence, while requiring much less maintenance. A vinyl fence can be painted to match your building or storefront.

Pool Fencing: Though pool fences are mostly for residences, there are some commercial establishments with pools. Most states have laws requiring fences around a pool. Pool fences must be durable and secure, but they can be made from different types of materials and can be painted to be aesthetically pleasing.

Ornamental Fencing: Sometimes businesses have fences which are for purely aesthetic reasons. Ornamental fences can be made with any type of material – wood, aluminum, wrought iron, steel, or vinyl – and will provide a more pleasing look for any business.

Wooden Gates:  Wooden gates are a practical addition for any business. Like wood fences they require regular maintenance, but they are a relatively inexpensive option which can also make any property more appealing.

Steel Gates:  For the most security, steel gates ate the answer. They may not be as visually appealing as other types of materials, but if you need the most security and safety, steel gates should be at the top of your list.
